This was huge for me.

I have been speaking to many different audiences for years, delivering a message of hope, how to’s and inspiration. Even though I was the speaker and sharing solid success principles it wasn’t until a life happening where one of my principles was really put to the test.

Many years ago one of my children were sick for weeks and we nor the doctors could figure out what was going on. We had her tested for various virus and infections but everything came up negative. We were prescribed antibiotics which we gave her and still she was sick. Finally we went back to the doctor who wanted to check her white blood cell count again to see if it had gone down. As he took a blood sample and then left the room my wife and were really concerned but hoping for some good news. After what seemed to be an eternity the doctor came back to tell us that her White blood count was even higher and that he was now concern she might have something more serious. He looked at us and told us it might be Leukemia. We were shocked as that was the last thing we were thinking. As we were stunned God moved me and I looked at my wife and said “No she does not have that.” I than looked at the doctor (who was amazing by the way) and told him I want one more set of antibiotics and that we are going to pray and ask for a healing, rather command a healing! The doctor told us that she had already had 10 days of antibiotic and that it did not do anything but that he could give her some more but he wanted to see us back in five days. We agreed that if in five days she was not better we would get her further testing.

My wife and I left the office and we prayed and prayed and asked family and members to pray. We asked everyone to ask for healing and a miracle. We did everything possible: read more scripture, prayed more often, spoke the word out loud etc.

Five day later we went back to the doctor and we were all a bit somber. He came in gave us a nod and drew some blood and left the room. This time it seemed even longer. We were still praying for a miracle and healing. The doctor returned and had a huge smile on his face. We knew the healing had come. He looked at us and said ” I wasn’t expecting this, her white count was so high last time I honestly did not think it would be normal, but it is completely normal.” We knew it could happen. He than went on to say ” I can’t explain it, but it could have only been God.”

I always tell people to Ask for what you want and it was during this time I realized how important it is to follow through on this. It literally may be a matte of life or death.
